Perfection.

Phenomenal little ratchet, almighty no back drag and lighter than anything else. Now for a 3/8” version

This is the smoothest ratchet I have ever laid hands on. Worth the price of entry.

What can I say…this ratchet set makes all my other tools feel somehow “less than”. The precision is striking, and makes even the most mundane tasks just a little bit more enjoyable. Hands down top tier tools. The tolerance is second to none. The only possible room for improvement to me would be embossed markings in place of laser engraving. I can’t wait for the next tool release.

Awesome stuff

I’m an avid hunter that hikes lots of miles high elevation. Having a lightweight backpack is very important. So I rely on these TRO tools to keep my gear tight and secure while I’m in the wilderness.

I liked the Generation 1 so much that I purchased a Generation 2.

The backdrag is so low that when I first received the ratchet I assumed that it was broken, Nope, just insanely low backdrag.

The fit and finish is perfect. The 1/4" bit socket works uncommonly well. I can even feel the improvements with the knurling.

Note that I have used the Generation 1 for roughly five months.

If you feel the need for a light ratchet (biking, hiking, climbing towers or ladders, etc), you really need this ratchet. If you are doing fine things where you want low backdrag (I really appreciate this with vehicle interiors and fine work), you won't find better I think.

I’m kind of bummed that now everything else I use seems that little more heavy and crap.
